Sensei Shane went over three techniques tonight:

Seio-Nage:
We practiced this throw on both the right and left sides tonight.

Hiza-Guruma:
We practiced this on both the right and left sides, then while on the move up/down the mat. They key to making the technique work is to step out to the side and place your foot just below the uke's knee as they're about to move forward. Remember to use lots of kuzushi.

Uki-Goshi:
We practiced this throw on both the right and left sides, then in a randori situation. The uke's job was to circle the tori in the direction they moved them so that they were on the tori's side, forming a "T". When they were in position the tori would attack with uki-goshi.
