Sensei Shane went over two techniques tonight.

Seio-Nage:
Standard throwing practice from a static position and while on the move up/down the mat.

O-Soto-Gari:
Standard throwing practice from a static position and while on the move up/down the mat.

O-Soto-Gari (Sideways variation):
Instead of stepping in at a 45° angle like a normal o-soto you step in at about a 20-30° angle. This makes it a bit easier to get the uke up on one leg and makes the throw much more powerful - so be careful with it.
